Dr. Shen is accepting adults and children into the medical practice in San Jose, CA.

Dr. Shen is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. We see all children and adult patients.

We treat the full spectrum of primary internal medicine (adult) and pediatric (child) conditions and diseases. This is a wide array of conditions including high blood pressure, asthma, cough, high cholesterol, eczema, allergies, skin conditions, infections, hepatitis, heartburn, and the whole spectrum of primary care.

In addition, we do see patients for routine checkups.

Our office is equipped to handle the urgent care needs for our practice patients and by appointment only.  Acute sickness, asthma attack, chest or abdominal pain, sprains and strains, may be triaged or treated appropriately.

We believe in well adult care as well as well child care. With this philosophy, we offer standard screening care (or referral) for conditions including breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and cervical cancer.

Our office provides in-office testing for a range of conditions including blood count and glucose, urine testing (for pregnancy or infection), flu covid and strep throat testing, and blood draws.  We are also very close to local lab draw stations for more extensive testing.

We have a close network of physician specialists in gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and more. Our specialists are affiliated with local hospitals including Stanford University, UCSF, and Santa Clara Health Care System.
